Getting started
How do I run my first search?
Go to the Search page in your dashboard, type a business category (e.g. "Restaurants") and a city, then hit Search. Results appear within seconds.
What does the opportunity score mean?
Each business gets a score from 0 to 100 based on whether it has a website, its star rating, review count, and listing completeness. Higher scores = better leads.
Does LeadBuzzer work outside the US?
Yes. LeadBuzzer uses the Google Places API, which covers businesses globally. Just type any city name and category in any language.
Plans & billing
What counts as a 'search'?
Each time you submit a new search query counts as one search. Viewing a lead's detail page, saving leads, or exporting do not count toward your search limit.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately. If you upgrade, you're charged the prorated difference. If you downgrade, the credit is applied to your next invoice.
Do unused searches roll over?
No. Search and lead limits reset on the first day of each billing cycle.
Exports & data
What's included in a CSV export?
Each row includes: business name, phone, address, city, category, star rating, review count, website (if any), website status, and opportunity score.
Is my data stored securely?
Yes. We use Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security and encrypted connections. Your search history and saved leads are private to your account.
Troubleshooting
My search returned no results. Why?
This usually means Google Places has no listings for that category in that city, or the search term was too specific. Try a broader category or a different city spelling.
I hit my search limit but the month hasn't ended. What do I do?
You can upgrade to a higher plan to get more searches immediately, or wait for your limit to reset at the start of your next billing cycle.
