Running a search
LeadBuzzer pulls live data from Google Business Profiles and returns every business that matches your city and category — whether they have a website or not.
Quick Hunt vs Advanced mode
Quick Hunt is pre-configured for the highest-value searches: no-website businesses, 3.5+ rating, within 25 km. Pick your industry chip, type your city, and hit Hunt Now.
Advancedmode gives you full control. Set a custom category, adjust the search radius from 1–50 km, filter by minimum rating and review count, and toggle between “No Website”, “Has Website”, “Social Media Only”, or any.
Country support
Both panels include a country selector for US, Canada, and UK. Selecting the correct country biases the geocoding result, so typing “London” returns London, England rather than London, Ontario when UK is selected.
Social Media Only filter
This filter surfaces businesses whose only online presence is a Facebook or Instagram page. They already know they need to be online — they just haven't made the jump to a website yet. These are often the fastest closes.
Start with Quick Hunt and the “No Website” default. You'll get your first scored leads in under 60 seconds.
Reading the results
Results are displayed in a table sorted by Opportunity Score (highest first). Each row shows the business name, address, phone number, website status, review count, and score. Click any row to open the full lead detail view.
The search page shows your monthly search count next to the filters so you always know how many searches remain.
Opportunity scoring
Every business gets an Opportunity Score from 0 to 100. The score estimates how likely the business is to benefit from — and pay for — a new website. It is not a rating of the business itself.
Score components
| Signal | Max points | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| No website | 40 pts | Biggest opportunity — no incumbent to replace |
| Social media only | 45 pts | Facebook/Instagram page as the only presence |
| Has real customers | 15 pts | 10+ reviews signal an established operation |
| Strong reputation | 10 pts | 4.0+ star rating means they're worth pitching |
| Claimed profile | 5 pts | Owner is engaged with their Google listing |
| Has photos | 5 pts | Active owner, more likely to invest in web presence |
Scores above 70 are your warmest leads. A business with 200 five-star reviews, no website, and a claimed Google profile is a near-perfect pitch target.
Website quality analysis
For businesses that do have a website, LeadBuzzer can run a deeper audit (available on Starter and Pro plans). The audit checks for mobile responsiveness, SSL, page speed, outdated copyright years, missing contact forms, and more. Businesses with low website quality scores are nearly as valuable as those with no site — their existing vendor isn't delivering.
Saved lead lists
Lists let you organise leads by campaign, city, or outreach batch. You can create as many named lists as you like and move leads between them at any time.
Creating a list
- Go to My Leads → Lists in the sidebar.
- Click New List, give it a name and an optional description.
- Pick a colour to make it easy to spot in the list view.
Saving leads from search results
After a search, tick the checkbox on any result row and click Save to List in the top action bar. You can select multiple leads at once and save them all in a single action.
Notes and tags
Open any saved lead to add a private note — great for tracking where you are in the outreach cycle. Tags let you mark leads with custom labels like “Left voicemail” or “Follow up Friday”.
Create a new list for each outreach batch with the date in the name — “Miami Contractors June 2026” — so you can track response rates per campaign.
Plan limits
Free plan: 0 saved leads. Lite: 250 leads. Starter: 2,000 leads. Pro: unlimited. Your current usage is shown at the top of the My Leads page.
Exporting leads
Exports are available on Starter and Pro plans. Each export creates a downloadable file containing all leads in the selected list.
What's included in the export
CSV vs Excel
CSV works with any tool — Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, or your CRM. Excel (.xlsx) is formatted with column headers and is ready to open directly in Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc.
How to export
- Go to My Leads → Lists and open the list you want to export.
- Click the Export button in the top right of the list view.
- Choose CSV or Excel and the download will begin immediately.
Export counts are tracked per month. Lite plan does not include exports. Upgrade to Starter or Pro to unlock exports.
Account & billing
Your plan, usage, and payment details are all managed from the Billing page in the dashboard sidebar.
Plans overview
| Plan | Searches / mo | Saved leads | Exports |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 3 | 0 | No |
| Lite | 50 | 250 | No |
| Starter | 500 | 2,000 | Yes |
| Pro | Unlimited | Unlimited | Yes |
Upgrading your plan
Go to Billing in the sidebar and click Upgrade. You'll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout page. Once payment is confirmed your new limits are active immediately — no waiting for a billing cycle to roll over.
Usage resets
Search counts reset automatically on the first of each month. The reset applies to all plans including Free, so your 3 free searches refresh every month without any action needed.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. After that your account moves to Free.
Updating your card details? Go to Billing → Manage Subscription. You'll be taken to the Stripe customer portal where you can update payment methods, view past invoices, and change your plan.
